Fallsview is open to real money wagering only for Canadian persons who are located within the province of Ontario Canada. We are required by regulation to determine a player's location in order to allow real money gaming. We use a software plugin to determine the location based on your IP address and local wifi details. The plugin launches each time you login and shows you if all requirements are met. If not, you can see exactly what is causing the restriction from the geo-location dashboard.

You need to be physically present within the province of Ontario in order to play for real money. If you are within Ontario province borders and you are being restricted from playing for real money, on a desktop or laptop computer, there may be an issue with locating you via WiFi.  Check to make sure that you have your computer’s WiFi signal/capability turned on.  If your computer is not equipped with WiFi, or you are using a Chromebook, it is most likely you will not be able to access real money games. 


What happens if I leave Ontario while in the middle of a game?

You will no longer be able to play real money games. In order to resume, you will need to return to Ontario, and, from there, we will re-confirm that you are physically located in Ontario.


Why is Geolocation locating me outside of Ontario?

If you are within Ontario province borders and you are being restricted from playing for real money, on a desktop or laptop computer, there may be an issue with locating you via WiFi.  Please check to make sure that you have your computer’s WiFi signal/capability turned on.  If your computer is not equipped with WiFi, it is likely you will not be able to access real money games. If you are using a mobile device, check that your device's location services are switched on. Turning on WiFi, GPS, and/or cellular data can also help Geolocation locate you. If you are still having trouble being located, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the program, from your device.

Additionally, your Internet Server Provider could be assigning you an IP address that is located outside of Ontario. If you are receiving this notification, please contact your Internet Provider to have your IP changed to Ontario.
